Lewisville, Texas –

In a remarkable display of skill and resourcefulness, Officer Quintero of the Lewisville Police Department brought two separate high-speed pursuits to a safe conclusion with a single strategic deployment of Stop Stick® tire deflation devices.

The incident initially unfolded in the early morning hours of November 23rd, 2024, at a time when Lewisville Police officers became involved in two separate pursuits that converged on the same stretch of road. To clarify, one pursuit involved a suspected drunk driver, while simultaneously the other involved a suspect wanted in connection with a narcotics operation.
