A black Ford Territory, believed to be stolen, was sighted near Autumn Fields Circular about 9.30am. Stop sticks were successfully deployed before four people got out of the car and fled the scene on foot. A 19-year-old Werribee man was dragged out from under a walk bridge after hiding in a park, he was then searched before being taken to the police station for processing.

Police have arrested two teenagers after intercepting an alleged stolen car in Tarneit. It is alleged a stolen black Ford Territory, was spotted near Autumn Field Circuit at about 9:30am on Monday morning.
Officers deployed stop sticks forcing four people to get out of the vehicle and flee the scene on foot. Locals also reported seeing the Police Air Wing.
A 19-year-old Werribee man and a 17-year-old girl from Taylors Hill were arrested nearby.

New Hampshire State Police said before 9 p.m. on Friday, a trooper attempted to stop a vehicle on Elm Street for having a defective equipment violation and no license plates.The vehicle did not stop and a pursuit ensued. Stop sticks were put out several times to deflate the tires as the vehicle continued into Claremont and back into Newport, state police said.All four tires eventually deflated but the driver, identified as Ashley Smith, 29, of Warner, did not stop.

Aaron Wilson Briggs, 40, of Channelview is charged with second-degree felony for possession of a controlled substance. Bryan Adam Scott, 37, of Channelview faces felonies for evading arrest or detention with a vehicle, unauthorized use of a vehicle and possession of a controlled substance, according to the Nacogdoches County Sheriff’s Office.

Police: Carjacking suspect arrested following chase in east Columbus – Ohio
COLUMBUS, Ohio — A carjacking suspect has been arrested after leading Columbus police on a chase Thursday night.
Police said the chase started on East Livingston and College avenues just before 7 p.m. The suspect got onto Interstate 270 just west of Gahanna where police used spike strips on the vehicle. The vehicle was struck and the suspect drove down the I-270 ramp onto Johnstown Road where they were arrested.

Officers from OSP, PPD, and the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office took part in the pursuit of a runaway truck pulling a trailer on Tuesday afternoon.
The call came in around 4 pm, reporting that OSP troopers were chasing the vehicle on St. Rte 522. A few minutes later, the truck hit a Scioto County Sheriff’s Deputy’s cruiser.

Troopers with the Nebraska State Patrol have arrested one person following a pursuit on Interstate 80 in central Nebraska.
At approximately 3:25 p.m. Tuesday, a trooper observed a Hyundai Elantra traveling westbound at over 100 miles per hour. The trooper attempted a traffic stop near mile marker 301 on I-80 and the driver pulled over to the shoulder. As the trooper approached the vehicle to contact the driver, the driver accelerated and fled at a high rate of speed. The trooper initiated a pursuit.

Lacey police arrested a Ballard man and a Roy woman after they allegedly stole items worth over $1,000 and damaged a patrol car while fleeing from officers. Shawn Armstrong, 35, and Melissa Segro, 43, were arrested on Oct. 3 after a reported theft at Kohls on Sleater Kinney Road. A loss prevention officer said a man and woman, later identified as the two suspects, grabbed several high-value items and left without paying just a few minutes before the store closed.

Houston police say that it all started when authorities received a report of a man in a U-Haul truck who crashed into a vehicle and fired several shots at the person inside. Around 1 a.m. Thursday, officials found the truck, which was reported stolen, and tried to stop it, but the suspect allegedly refused to yield to officers.

Police are looking for the driver of a U-Haul pickup truck that ran a red light and led Glendale police on a chase Wednesday morning. Glendale police said an officer saw the truck run a red light at West Good Hope Road and Interstate 43 at about 1:16 a.m. The officer tried to stop the truck, which was going southbound on I-43. The U-Haul truck then hit stop sticks on I-43. The chase ended around 8th Street and West North Avenue, police said.A short time later, police said the truck was involved in a crash at 6th and Walnut streets. When police found the U-Haul truck, no one was in it. The driver of the car struck by the pickup was taken to an area hospital and is believed to have non-life-threatening injuries, police said. No one has been arrested.

(La Porte, IN) – A suspected drunk driver allegedly kept fleeing police until his flat tires forced him to stop in downtown La Porte.
Corey Storball, 41, of Michigan City, is charged with operating while intoxicated, resisting law enforcement, and other counts. According to court documents, an officer on October 14 tried pulling over Storball for failing to use a turn signal and the license plate light on the back of his van being out on E. Michigan Boulevard in Michigan City.
Storball pulled to the side of the road but kept traveling at under 10 miles per hour, police said.

At about 9:20 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 18, an Arizona Department of Public Safety sergeant tried to pull over a vehicle for moving and equipment violations on westbound Interstate 10 near Casa Grande, according to DPS.

The Tulsa Police Department is searching for the person they say led officers on an overnight chase in a stolen car.
A stolen car was recovered early Wednesday morning after a chase through the Tulsa metro.
According to the Tulsa Police Department, an officer happened to run the tag number of a car leaving an apartment complex in Tulsa when the results came back that the car was stolen.
The officer followed the vehicle it as it observed traffic laws, while other officers came to assist. By this point the vehicle was on U.S. Highway169 heading in the direction of the Creek Turnpike, where they then went westbound.

According to the state patrol, one of its troopers first spotted Valerian Dubei heading north on I-39/90/94 near DeForest and stated the 59-year-old driver could not keep his GMC Jimmy in his lane and, at one point, the SUV nearly struck a traffic cone.

A Fargo man was arrested following a high speed pursuit Monday afternoon in Grand Forks County.
According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, Jesse Saldviar, 45, fled from a traffic stop, at times reaching speeds more than 120 miles per hour.
NDHP Troopers attempted to utilize spike strips near the Reynolds and Buxton to stop the pursuit. Those attempts proved unsuccessful. Saldviar eventually stopped at the intersection of Traill County Road 81 and 6th Street Northeast, just north of the Hillsboro Beet Plant.

Officials with the Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office say that John Rybolt was driving and failed to pull over when deputies tried to stop him. They say that led to a chase.
Authorities say Rybolt pushed his passenger out of the car, and she was hit by the driver. Deputies say they used stop sticks to pop Rybolt’s tire, but he still got away, so the chase was ended.

Oct. 17—HENDERSON — The City Council unanimously approved the purchase of 42 9-foot-long “stop sticks” using federal grant funding at last Monday’s meeting.
Henderson police have utilized “stinger” devices for the past two decades. Stop sticks are composed of a single, three-sided bar with spikes lining each face. Comparatively, stop sticks are lighter and easier to deploy, according to Police Chief Marcus Barrow, who added that “now is the time to upgrade.”

A Fargo driver who led authorities on a high-speed chase in Grand Forks and Traill Counties faces several charges, including DUI.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol says, around 2:15 PM Monday near Emerado, a trooper tried to stop a Ford Mustang that was driving 85 miles per hour in a 70 zone.
The driver fled east on Highway 2 at speeds of more than 120 miles per hour.
The car went south on Grand Forks County Road 3 to Eagle Avenue. Troopers tried to use spike strips near Reynolds and Buxton to end the pursuit, but it was ineffective, as the car turned south on Traill County Road 26.

A man faces numerous charges after allegedly leading police on a lengthy chase from Oshawa up to Kawartha Lakes.
Durham Regional Police officers were on patrol when they spotted a silver Honda driving erratically near Simcoe St. and Glover Rd. The officers caught the car shortly before 10:30 p.m. on October 13.
The cops tried to pull the Honda over at a red light. However, police claim the car sped off and failed to stop. Citing public safety concerns, the officers broke off pursuit.

DETROIT — Thieves are using cloned key fobs to steal Dodge muscle cars and other high-powered vehicles directly from dealerships and even automakers in Michigan, then selling them for tens of thousands of dollars less than their value, according to authorities and court records.
For one Ohio-based theft ring, it all came crashing down after a January holdup of a U.S. postal worker led authorities to connect several men to brazen car thefts in the Detroit area, long home to the country’s biggest automakers, including Dodge, which is now owned by international conglomerate Stellantis.

The men were westbound on I-80 at 7:08 a.m. in a white Ford Explorer with Florida license plates when a patrolman tried to initiate a traffic stop at about the 35 mile marker, according to Public Information Officer Ryan DeVault. The vehicle kept going and sped up, reaching speeds of more than 120 miles per hour while the trooper continued pursuit.
