A San Antonio couple is in the Brazos County jail after they were arrested following a chase that began in Bryan and ended west of Hearne in Milam County. According to DPS arrest reports, a trooper wanted to stop a car on Friday for expired registration and a brake light that was not working. The car ran multiple stop signs in Bryan and Hearne before the car was stopped by spike strips that were placed on FM 485 by Milam County sheriff’s deputies.

Lawrence police are looking for a man that almost hit an officer with a stolen vehicle – Kansas

Lawrence Police are still searching for a man who took off and almost hit an officer with his car on Sunday. Authorities say he led them on a high-speed pursuit down I-70, crashed, and then ran into the woods. The incident reportedly occurred just after 3:00 pm Sunday when officers were called to a car wash in the 1000 block of North 3rd Street. Someone called because a man was sleeping in his running car. Officers say they called for medical help after they noticed he was breathing but not responding. The man eventually woke up, would not cooperate with officers and quickly hit the gas, almost hitting one of the officers.

Suspects Lead Wheeler County Deputies On High Speed Chase – Texas

Drugs were found in a vehicle and two people were arrested Saturday after Wheeler County, Texas deputies used spike strips to end a 15-mile high speed chase. According to the Wheeler County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy on routine patrol tried to stop a vehicle around 5:30 p.m. on eastbound I-40, just west of US 83 in Shamrock. The driver refused to stop and headed north on US 83 at a high rate of speed towards Wheeler, Texas. However, a second deputy in Wheeler set up spike strips.

Sep. 5—Five Madison Township Police Department officers have been honored for outstanding performance during two separate incidents — a vehicle pursuit on Interstate 90 and a suicide threat. Township Police Chief Matthew Byers selected Patrolmen Jesse Cudnik and Ryan Shannon to receive department excellence citations for their actions in resolving an incident that occurred on July 17. The chief presented those same honors to Patrolmen Shawn McClure and Todd Perry and Sgt. Matthew Gosnik for their efforts after responding to a call on March 14.

Troopers: Woman accused of stealing Shelby police car, leading high-speed cross-county chase – North Carolina

A woman is in custody after allegedly stealing a Shelby police cruiser and leading officers on a high-speed chase late Sunday night, according to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol. Authorities say the woman got into an open Shelby police car while an officer was speaking to someone else and took off. Investigators said she drove up Highway 74 from Shelby into Gastonia. She reached speeds of 140 miles an hour, according to police.

Suspect at large following pursuit with Tennessee Highway Patrol – Ohio

Troopers from the Marion Post were involved in a vehicle pursuit that occurred on September 3, 2022 at approximately 7:42 PM that started on US 23 near SR 4 in Marion County. The pursuit involved a 2015 Honda Pilot, driven by Joseph Yapp, 41 of Worthington. The Ohio State Highway Patrol received a call that indicated the 2015 Honda Pilot was all over the road. A Marion Trooper observed the Honda Pilot straddling both lanes. The Marion Trooper attempted to initiate a traffic stop and the Honda Pilot continued to travel north on US 23.
