The Callaway County Sheriff’s Department arrested one man Monday after a pursuit throughout the county.
At approximately 5:01 p.m., a sheriff’s office deputy in the Fulton area attempted to stop Scott Allen, 58, of Calwood, for (felony) driving while revoked, a CCSO release states.
Allen led the deputy and other officers on a pursuit through Fulton and east to Calwood on State Road Z to State Road JJ.
In this area, a deputy deployed a spike strip and deflated the tires on Allen’s vehicle.

After a vehicle pursuit, Kent Police arrested a 20-year-old Kent man for investigation of first-degree assault after he reportedly threatened a man with a gun.
Officers were dispatched at about 11:32 a.m. Monday, July 10 to a mobile home park in the 24400 block of 64th Avenue South in response to a 911 call of an assault with a gun, according to a Kent Police statement.
A man told police that a man had just pointed a gun at him while making threats, then tucked the gun in his waistband and ran off on foot, according to police. Officers arrived within two minutes and while en route were advised that the suspect had entered a vehicle and left the mobile home park.

July 2023 Pursuit News: Minot police involved in car chase; one arrested, multiple drugs found – North Dakota
MINOT, N.D. (KXNET) — A 29-year-old Minot man was arrested after he allegedly drove away from an attempted traffic stop by police, refused to let his passenger out of the car, and fled on foot after a tire on his car was deflated by spike strips.
According to the arresting affidavit, the incident occurred on July 8 around 6:10 p.m. when an officer attempted a traffic stop on a black Chevy Tahoe traveling east on E. Burdick in Minot with no license plates or a visible temporary registration.
As the officer attempted to turn their car around, the vehicle allegedly turned south on 36th Street and accelerated, appearing to attempt to avoid the officer. The officer followed and once they turned on their emergency lights, the vehicle turned down 10th Avenue without slowing down, then turned onto 37th Street.

A 16-year-old boy was arrested on Wednesday afternoon, June 28 after leading Ceres Police on a pursuit that ended in Hughson.
At 1:11 p.m. Officer Chuck Lordhuff was on patrol in the area of Mitchell and Fowler roads when he attempted to stop a blue Kia Optima reported as stolen. The teen driver accelerated with police in pursuit into Hughson which ended when officers used stop sticks to deflate the tires. The Kia stopped and the suspect ran away but was apprehended after a short chase. A 15-year-old male passenger remained in the car and was later released from the scene.
The teen driver was booked into Juvenile Hall on charges of evading police in a vehicle and resisting arrest. His name was withheld because of a state law protecting the identity of a minor who is arrested.

A man is in custody after a police chase in Grand Rapids on Tuesday morning.
According to police, they were called out to a domestic disturbance on the 1400 block of SE 6th Avenue around 8:45am.
The caller had reported the suspect had been ramming their vehicle with his vehicle, while the caller was inside it.
When officers tried to stop him, he allegedly fled south on Highway 169 out of town, and then back north into Grand Rapids.
Spike strips helped slow him down. But the suspect still managed to hit an Itasca County Sheriff’s squad, according to investigators.

GENEVA COUNTY, Ala. (WTVY) – A wanted Florida man is off the streets following a high speed chase.
The Coffee County Sheriff’s Office was making a traffic stop Monday Afternoon when the driver decided to flee.
According to police reports, he headed to Geneva County. Multiple agencies responded working to get the driver off the road.
“Samson PD was able to spike the vehicle with the use of spike strips. just south of County Road 403 on 87 prior to reaching Samson city limits,” said Geneva County Investigator Cory Dean. “At this point, Geneva County deputies took over the pursuit.”
Following the spike, Geneva County police reported the driver continued driving with three tires blown.

Chasing down and apprehending the driver of a stolen truck was just one of several incidents Monday that kept Benton County Deputies busy.
A truck stolen from Cougar Cafe
Monday morning, in broad daylight, the truck pictured in our story was stolen from the parking lot of the Cougar Cafe in Benton City. With help from Prosser Police, who laid out spike strips, Deputies were able to quickly recover the truck and the driver, who is now in the Benton County jail.

July 2023 Pursuit News: High speed chase on interstate 77 leads to charlotte men arrested – North Carolina
On July 6, 2023 Avone Williams, 22, and Rasean Mustipher, 32, were arrested after a high speed chase on Interstate 77 in Huntersville, NC.
The men were accused of stealing $2,300 worth of products from Harris Teeter and a Walgreens in Mooresville, NC. Cops spotted the suspects fleeing in a vehicle at 5:50 p.m. A traffic stop was initiated but the suspects did not stop.
A high speed chase then initiated and went on to I-77. The chase made its way into Mecklenburg County in Huntersville.
Cops deployed stop sticks, which ended the pursuit by blowing out the suspect’s car tires near the Gilead Road exit.
Avone and Rasean were arrested charged with felony larceny, conspiracy to commit felony larceny and destruction of evidence.

First, OCPD tried to stop a vehicle without headlights. This happened near 17th Street on Monday night. The driver failed to stop.
The driver ran red lights and changed lanes unsafely. Finally, an officer deployed stop sticks at 59th Street. However, the vehicle kept driving over Route 90. It drove with one flat tire.
Police spotted the vehicle stopped on the bridge. Four people exited, then the vehicle continued on Route 90. Police saw one suspect throw a bag into the bay.
Officers detained and frisked all four people. They found one handgun. OCPD found the vehicle and driver at a Berlin gas station. Officers arrested the driver there.
Later, NRP recovered the floating bag under the bridge. The bag contained a loaded handgun.

Grand Prairie Police arrested a person after a chase involving a tow truck Tuesday afternoon.
NBC 5’s Texas Sky Ranger picked up the chase in Arlington as the driver headed south on U.S. Highway 287 from westbound Interstate 20.
The driver then led police through Mansfield and toward Midlothian.
At 1:41 p.m. police used spike strips to disable the truck. The driver slowed to a stop near Prairie Ridge Boulevard and got out of the vehicle, but didn’t put on the truck’s brake.
As the driver, who appeared to be a woman in a dress, walked toward the officers, the tow truck slowly advanced, turned and rolled off the roadway before coming to a stop in the grass.

An Addison man on parole for a gun crime has been charged with fleeing and eluding police, authorities announced Monday.
Villa Park police arrested Nikko De Pasquale, 29, of the 100 block of South Iowa Avenue, on Friday.
Authorities say an officer saw a red Pontiac coupe speed through a stop sign at Ardmore Avenue and Jackson Street at 11:57 p.m. Thursday.
The driver made a U-turn and drove away at speeds of more than 89 mph in a 25-mph zone, police say.
After police deflated the rear passenger’s-side tire with spikes, the driver drove onto eastbound I-290, according to a news release from the DuPage County state’s attorney’s office. A second spike strip deflated the front passenger’s-side tire, but the driver exited at North Avenue, drove into Northlake, made another U-turn, and drove onto westbound I-290 before stopping at York Street, the news release said.

The victim told police the suspect pointed a gun at him. The suspect made threats, then ran off on foot.
Kent Officers arrived within two minutes. While en route, they learned the suspect left the complex. He had entered a vehicle. An incoming Officer located the vehicle on Meeker Street. He tried a stop, but the suspect refused to pull over.
Kent Officers followed the vehicle to the I-5 onramp. There, in a safe location, they delivered a PIT maneuver. The PIT was partially successful. It stopped the suspect from entering the freeway.
However, the suspect kept eluding the Officers. Then, his vehicle hit a police spike strip. The strip partially disabled his vehicle. Pursuing Officers delivered another PIT. Finally, they stopped the suspect vehicle.

July 2023 Pursuit News: Suspect in Armed Robbery Arrested; Police Officer Injured – Wisconsin

First, on July 10, deputies responded to an armed robbery call. This occurred at a dealership near Milwaukie at 6:10 p.m. Deputies tried to find the suspect. The suspect drove a stolen 2009 Ford Ranger.
Furthermore, the truck had front and rear damage. The driver hit several cars in the parking lot.
Around 6:20 p.m., police located the suspect vehicle. The Sheriff’s Air Unit helped them find it. Milwaukie Police also assisted the search.
Officers deployed spike strips. Eventually, deputies stopped the vehicle using a PIT maneuver. This happened on Hwy 224.
During the pursuit, a Sheriff’s Office vehicle hit an officer. This injured the Milwaukie Police Officer. EMTs transported the officer to a local hospital. He sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

(KTTS News) — A suspected drunk driver led authorities on a chase through Springfield.
It started around 12:30 a.m. Monday morning.
The driver went down Battlefield and other city streets before hitting spike strips.
He led Greene County deputies onto James River Freeway.
The chase ended near James River and National.
Deputies had to stop traffic at one point because the driver was going the wrong way.

PEARL, Miss. (WLBT) – A Pearl Police chase ended with the arrest of a Georgia woman and officers finding a large amount of narcotics in her vehicle.
Public Information Officer Greg Flynn says officers stopped 47-year-old Bessie Henrietta Jackson’s vehicle on I-20 eastbound for a traffic violation just before 6 p.m. on Monday.
When the officer approached the driver’s door, Jackson fled and continued eastbound on I-20. Flynn says a chase ensued, and Pearl Police notified other Rankin County law enforcement.
Rankin County deputies stopped Jackson’s vehicle by deploying spike strips just east of the Pelahatchie exit. According to Flynn, her front tire blew out, and she began to flee on the side of the interstate before being bitten by a Rankin County K9.

Jul. 10—ASHLEY — Borough police arrested a man from Mountain Top following a pursuit that began on state Route 309 and ended at Blakeslee Corners in Blakeslee, Monroe County, late Saturday night.
Steven Murphy, 43, of Walden Drive, intentionally crashed into an Ashley police cruiser and a Wright Township cruiser during the chase on Pine Run Road, according to court records.
Murphy was captured after state police utilized spike strips to flatten the tires on his vehicle at routes 115 and 940 in Blakeslee.
According to the criminal complaint:
An Ashley police officer was traveling south on Route 309 in the area of Bentley’s when Murphy, operating a 2016 Nissan Sentra, began tailgating him just after 9 p.m.

July 2023 Pursuit News: Pursuit through Bates County based on reports of abduction – Missouri
A southbound pursuit Sunday night through Bates County was on initial reports of an abduction out of Cass County.
The sheriff in Bates says the suspect vehicle departed from I-49 and failed to pull over west of Butler on 52. Spike strips were deployed on Route TT, but the vehicle continued north on Bus. 49 toward Passaic. After deputy cruisers tried to pin the vehicle, it again fled, and had to be hit by a PIT maneuver and boxed in on the side of the road.
Two males, aged 20 and 17 were arrested and held, pending formal charges. The 18-year-old female victim was also located, and met by Bates County Victim Advocate. A firearm was found in the vehicle.

VILLA PARK, IL – A man who reached speeds of nearly 90 mph in Villa Park led officers on a chase that included neighboring Elmhurst, authorities said.
The driver was identified as Nikko De Pasquale, 29, of Addison, who now faces felony charges.
Shortly before midnight Thursday, Villa Park officers saw a red 2002 Pontiac Coupe speeding north on Ardmore Avenue and running a stop sign, according to a news release from prosecutors. The driver, De Pasquale, did not stop for officers and, instead, made a U-turn and sped away from them, police said.

July 2023 Pursuit News: Stolen vehicle chase goes through Newfane and Lockport – New York

BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Niagara County Sheriff’s deputies chased after a stolen car in the Town of Newfane Monday morning.
A deputy in the Town of Newfane noticed a stolen vehicle traveling through the town on Ewings Road.
The person driving the vehicle drove through stop signs and stop lights, causing the deputy to initiate a traffic stop.
The driver did not stop and a pursuit of the vehicle started throughout the town and ended in the town of Lockport as patrols successfully utilized stop sticks, which deflated the cars tires, and caused the driver to put the car into a ditch.

July 2023 Pursuit News: Police charge three after Yinnar burglary and pursuit – Australia

A 35-year-old man will face 64 charges. This follows a burglary and pursuit in Yinnar Friday. Police charged the Sale man with multiple thefts. Charges include dangerous driving and reckless conduct. He committed a crime while on bail.
Furthermore, detectives charged two other people. They charged a 37-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman. Both face motor vehicle theft charges.
The charges stem from a burglary on Creamery Road. Police arrested two people at the scene on July 7. However, a third man allegedly fled on foot. He confronted a couple and stole their Toyota Corolla.
