12-Mile Vehicle Pursuit North of Cass Lake Ends in Arrest – Florida

A 12-mile vehicle pursuit north of Cass Lake ended with one person arrested and taken into custody.
Due to reports of a suspicious vehicle in the Ten Lake Township area, Beltrami County deputies increased their presence in the past week. Beltrami County Sheriff Jason Riggs reports in the early morning hours of March 17th, deputies observed a car matching the description of the suspicious vehicle.

Woman wanted for identify theft in Texas arrested following Nowata County chase – Oklahoma
NOWATA COUNTY, Okla. — A woman wanted for identity theft and shoplifting in Texas was arrested after she was chased by authorities in Nowata County, according to the Nowata County Sheriff’s Office (NCSO), according to NCSO.
NCSO said on March 9, an SCPD officer stopped a vehicle for showing the wrong license plate.
The driver of that vehicle, later identified as Jennifer Morris, initially gave that officer a fake name and a fake driver’s license. While the officer was checking this information, Morris drove away.

HOPKINTON, Mass. (WPRI) — Three people were arrested after leading officers on a lengthy chase through two states Friday evening, according to Massachusetts State Police.
Police said the chase began in New Hampshire and ended roughly an hour later in Massachusetts, when troopers deployed stop sticks and brought the vehicle to a screeching halt on I-495 in Hopkinton.
The vehicle, according to police, had been reported stolen out of Providence two days ago. Police said all three suspects ran off once the vehicle came to a stop on the side of the highway, but were quickly apprehended.

Driver Arrested After Fleeing Pike County Sheriff’s Deputy – Florida

The Pike County Sheriff’s Office says the driver of a car who sped away from a traffic stop near Petersburg Wednesday night was finally apprehended near the Troy Road and Highland Avenue intersection in Daviess County.
That’s where 24-year-old Cameron Gregory collided with two Pike County patrol vehicles.
Gregory got out of his vehicle and ran, but was captured a short distance away.
Earlier, stop sticks were used to slow down the high-speed chase which reached speeds of up to 100 miles an hour.

BELTRAMI COUNTY — A 54-year-old man has been arrested after leading Beltrami County deputies on a 12-mile pursuit early Friday morning.
According to a release from Sheriff Jason Riggs, over the past week, Beltrami County deputies have been conducting increased patrol efforts in the area of Ten Lake Township relating to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the area.
In the early morning hours of Friday, March 17, a Beltrami County deputy observed a car matching the description of the vehicle near the intersection of Jenkins Road Southeast and Mission Road Southeast, about 10 miles north of Cass Lake. A traffic stop was attempted but the vehicle fled.

MOUNT PLEASANT, Wis. – A Racine County sheriff’s deputy arrested a “repeat reckless driver” Friday morning for operating after revocation and other offenses.
According to the sheriff’s office, 35-year-old Dean Burns of Kenosha has 16 prior convictions for operating after revocation and hasn’t had a valid driver’s license since 2015.
The deputy saw a black Hyundai SUV speeding near Green Bay and Durand in Mount Pleasant, clocked at 101 mph in a 55 mph zone, around 11:30 a.m. The deputy pursued the SUV and stopped it on Braun Road. The driver, Braun, was arrested.

A Sacramento woman was arrested on several charges following an early morning chase that ended in Folsom, according to police. Placerville police stopped a vehicle “displaying a fictitious license plate” around 2:33 a.m.Police said the driver, identified as 34-year-old Akika Parker, refused to show her driver’s license and other paperwork to officers. She then drove off when police asked her to exit the vehicle, authorities said. She entered westbound Highway 50, leading officers on a chase that exceeded 100 mph, police said. Spike strips were deployed, and Folsom police were able to intercept the vehicle on westbound Highway 50, east of Bidwell Street. Parker was removed from the vehicle, and police found a loaded firearm inside, authorities said. She faces charges that include assault with a deadly weapon, evading police officers, resisting arrest and carrying a concealed firearm.

Osceola County deputies said arrests have been made in connection to multiple vehicle burglaries. The burglaries occurred in near Poinciana. According to the sheriff’s office, detectives saw three men burglarizing vehicles Wednesday. The suspects then allegedly fled, and spike strips were used to stop their vehicle.Deputies said the three suspects got out of the vehicle and went into the woods in the area of Bogie Lane and County Club Road. They were later found and arrested. Isaac Blanco, Angel Saldana and Elhadji Ndiaye each face charges of multiple conveyance burglaries and resisting arrest without violence. Woman leads authorities on multi-county chase with 4 children in vehicle – Wisconsin

WAUWATOSA, Wis. (CBS 58) — A woman was arrested following a pursuit from Waukesha to Milwaukee County.
According to the Wisconsin State Patrol, officials tried to pull a van over for traffic violations in Waukesha County.
The driver stopped initially but then took off.
Authorities used spike strips and a PIT maneuver to end the chase near 70th and Wisconsin in Wauwatosa.

Deputies with the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man after a pursuit and assistance from the Washington State Patrol.
The man was wanted by the Bremerton Police Department for his alleged involvement in a drive-by shooting.
During the pursuit, spike strips were used to flatten the tires on the man’s van.
Once the man dumped the van, he attempted to escape by swimming from Tracyton Beach in the Dyes Inlet.

Shymon Maleek Chaplin, 24, is facing several charges, including two counts of first-degree manufacture/possession of schedule I, II and III substances, according to jail records; and 24-year-old Ladedriauna Lashee Ravenell’s charges include trafficking methamphetamines and possession of Shrooms, an incident report states.

Report: Gun, drugs found following chase through Conway, Myrtle Beach areas – South Carolina
–HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WMBF) – A Murrells Inlet man faces a slew of charges following a chase that started in the Conway area.
An incident report shows just before 9 p.m. Monday, an officer tried to stop a truck along Highway 378 and El Bethel Road for a window tint violation and failure to maintain lane.
The truck didn’t stop for the officer and sped up on Highway 378, according to the report.
Horry County police managed to deploy stop sticks on Highway 544 and the truck came to a stop in the 500 block of Mill Pond Road, the incident report states.

KNOX CO. – On Thursday, March 16, at approximately 8: a.m., Indiana State Police Master Trooper Ryan Johnson was patrolling US 50 near Robinson Road when he attempted to stop the driver of a 2011 Chrysler minivan for driving 107 mph.
The driver refused to stop and continued westbound at a high rate of speed before driving south on US 41.
Master Trooper Gary Goodman was in the area and was able to deploy stop sticks on US 41 near St. Thomas Road. The driver of the minivan struck the stop sticks causing the vehicle to slow down and eventually stop on US 41 near Plank Road.

KANSAS CITY—A Kansas City man has been charged with Assault 1st Degree of a Law Enforcement Officer and other felonies after he was seen shooting with a gun later determined to be altered to be fully automatic at a chasing Cass County Sheriff’s Deputy, according to Jackson County Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker.
Kainon K. Singleton, 25, faces felony criminal charges of the Class A Felony of Assault 1st Degree, Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Resisting Arrest and two counts of Armed Criminal Action.
According to court records, early Friday Kansas City police officers notified Grandview police that they were conducting surveillance on a moving vehicle that was subject of a multi-agency burglary investigation.

At 12:22 a.m. deputies arrested Lenny Michael Boberg, 20, of La Crescent, on potential charges of driving under the influence, test refusal, and driving after revocation after officers stopped him for driving over the centerline on County Road 7 in Pickwick Valley. According to the report, Boberg allegedly had bloodshot, watery eyes, slurred speech, slow movements, and an odor of alcohol. Deputies said that Boberg allegedly presented them with a fake driver’s license.

South Haven Police respond to shots fired report, arrest two following pursuit – Michigan
SOUTH HAVEN, Mich. – Two people were arrested following a shots fired report and police pursuit early Wednesday morning, according to the South Haven Police Department.
At 2 a.m., police went to the 400 block of Michigan Ave. for a shots fired report.
The caller told dispatch that seven to eight people were outside and two sedans were leaving the scene.
When officers got to the area, they saw one of the sedans leaving.
When they tried to pull the vehicle over, the driver allegedly ignored police orders and a pursuit began.

An officer observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed on West Main Street in Centralia at 2:55 a.m. on March 14. The officer caught up to the vehicle and attempted to stop it after seeing the vehicle did not have a license plate. The vehicle then fled west on Harrison Avenue and onto northbound Interstate 5 at a high rate of speed. The officer was not able to pursue due to state laws, according to the Centralia Police Department. Officers relayed the information to Thurston County Sheriff’s deputies, who successfully deployed a spike strip on the vehicle.

Driver Impaired During Two State Chase – Indiana

(La Porte County, IN) – A driver was allegedly impaired during a 50-mile high speed chase from Michigan City and through New Buffalo.
Casey Land, 41, is being held in the Berrien County Jail on multiple charges including Operating while Intoxicated after crashing into a roundabout in downtown Benton Harbor.
At about 8 p.m. on Friday, March 10th, Land stole a 2013 Ford Escape in the 700 block of Emily Street in Michigan City. A short time later, a LaPorte County Police officer on U.S 12 near Liberty Trail tried pulling him over for driving erratically but Land allegedly accelerated and refused to stop.

Car chase starting in Wis. ends in metro Minnesota, no injuries – Wisconsin – Minnesota
A car chase that started in St. Croix County in Wisconsin ended in the metro area of Minnesota on Tuesday with one man arrested.
The car traveled into Minnesota through westbound 94 in Marion, Minn. St. Croix County Deputies eventually stopped their pursuit, which was later picked up by St. Paul Police.
Officers followed the vehicle onto Snelling as it exited and headed northbound toward Falcon Heights, said a spokesperson with St. Paul police.
Using Stop Sticks, local law enforcement stopped the vehicle near Hamline Ave. and County Road C in Roseville.

LIVINGSTON COUNTY — The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office helped the Missouri State Highway Patrol with a pursuit that ended with an Illinois man’s arrest last week.
Sheriff Steve Cox says the vehicle was traveling at approximately 117 mph on U.S. 36. near Wheeling. Spike strips were successfully deployed west of Chillicothe and at that time the suspect, identified as Tyler J. Tadlock, 25, of Bethany, Ill., fled on foot with his pit bull.
The sheriff’s office, Chillicothe police and a K-9 took Tadlock into custody. He was booked at the Caldwell County Detention Center for possession of a controlled substance and resisting arrest.

New Jersey man arrested following high-speed chase throughout Adams County – Pennsylvenia
ADAMS COUNTY, Pa. — A New Jersey man was arrested on March 1 following a high-speed chase throughout Adams County.
Cardaro Champ, 35, has been charged with operating a vehicle with unsafe equipment, manufacturing, delivering or possessing with intent to manufacture or deliver, fleeing or attempting to elude officers, DUI- 1st offense, use or possession of drug paraphernalia, evading arrest or detention on foot and resisting arrest.
At 9:22 a.m., a trooper initiated a traffic stop on a car for a violation of the Pa. vehicle code. As the trooper was approaching the 2014 Audi reportedly driven by Champ, it sped off.

High-speed chase nets drugs, cash and rare breed dog in Adams County, police say – South Carolina
ADAMS COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — State Police in Adams County say a man has been charged after leading them on a high-speed chase.
According to police, an officer attempted to pull over a vehicle for a traffic code violation on March 1 just before 9:30 AM at Camp Letterman Drive and York Road in Straban Township.
State Police say when the officer approached the vehicle, the driver took off.
The vehicle then traveled approximately nine miles while driving at speeds in excess of 110 MPH, while weaving in and out of heavy traffic, according to authorities.

Greensboro woman arrested after high speed pursuit – Georgia
It took two attempts at using tire deflating stop sticks to slow a woman down enough for deputies to execute a P.I.T maneuver on her F-250 pickup truck to stop a dangerous multi-mile high speed pursuit.
Marguerite Elizabeth Crumbley, 42, Greensboro, was arrested at 11:51 p.m. on West Marion Street in Eatonton after a chase that began on Interstate 20 in Morgan County, ended in Putnam County. Crumbley’s pickup truck was spun out by Morgan County Deputy Derek Snead after three of the truck’s tires had been destroyed by stop sticks deployed by the Eatonton Police Department on Georgia Highway 16 coming into Eatonton.

On March 12, 2023, at 12:07 p.m., North District General Patrol units responded to the north part of Winnipeg for a report of a stolen Peterbilt box truck being driven erratically and tracked by GPS.
Soon after, officers acquired and observed the truck near Jefferson Avenue and King Edward Street. The vehicle was followed as it travelled through the Seven Oaks, River East and Transcona areas, with officers repeatedly attempting to stop it safely.
A tire deflation device (“Stop Stick”) was successfully deployed in the Gunn Road and Day Street area. The truck continued to flee and attempted to side-swipe a police vehicle but failed. Soon after, it struck a snowbank in the 900 block of Redonda Street.

CLAYTON — Two Pennsylvania residents were arrested on felony drug charges Friday, Delaware State Police said.
Senior Cpl. Leonard DeMalto said police learned that Thomas Ponzo, 26, of Sharon Hill, was using a 2021 Nissan Sentra to transport a significant amount of meth to a residence in Clayton.
Troopers located the Sentra in the Clayton area and were able to take Mr. Ponzo into custody as he stood outside the car. However, the driver of the Sentra, Khyree Dacoste, 32, of Philadelphia, began driving away, Cpl. DeMalto said.

Stolen vehicle suspect leads deputies on pursuit from Cathedral City to Bermuda Dunes – KESQ – California
MINNEAPOLIS – A Minneapolis man has been charged in a criminal complaint for an armed carjacking spree and illegal possession of a firearm, announced U.S. Attorney Andrew M. Luger.
“Let this be a lesson that we will not tolerate violent felons that prey on our community, especially those who endanger the police officers who courageously place their lives on the line in the protection of others,” said Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O’Hara. “I am thankful for the dozens of officers from multiple agencies who responded to swiftly bring this person to justice before he could cause any more harm in our community.”

It was at that point the police air wing was able to pick up the car’s movements. After driving around a number of streets at Yarrawonga, it headed east on the Murray Valley Highway, through Bundalong and then onto the Wangaratta-Yarrawonga Road towards Wangaratta.

Suspect arrested after South Bend police chase ends in St. Joseph River – Indiana

SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) – A South Bend man is in jail and faces several charges after a vehicle pursuit ended in the St. Joseph River.
Officers with the South Bend Police Department were called around 9:40 a.m. on Sunday to the 100 block of West Jefferson Boulevard on reports of a man in the area that was wanted on a warrant.
Police say the man, identified as 47-year-old Edward Silcox, left in an SUV. Officers tried to pull Silcox over at Main Street and Jefferson Boulevard, but he took off, so a chase began.
